Day 1 Auckland - Waitomo - Rotorua: Travel south through Waikato, past Hamilton to Waitomo Caves for a boat ride under a galaxy of glowworms. Continue to fiery Rotorua. Recommended for tonight is attending a fascinating Maori hangi (feast) and concert tonight (optional).

Day 2 At Rotorua: Half day sightseeing tour is included - you will see roaring geysers, boiling mud pools at the thermal area, tame trout at the springs and performing sheep and dogs at the agrodome. This afternoon is free - there are many activities to attract you.

Day 3 Rotorua Thermal tour - Auckland: This morning visit Wai-o-tapu Thermal Wonderland to view the Lady Knox geyser playing to awesome heights, colorful craters and silica terraces. Your tour continues with a walk through the Waimangu rift valley to see steaming cliffs and boiling lakes. This afternoon you return to Auckland.
