Edgewater Resort is located at Lake Wanaka, a mere one hour drive from the ski slopes of Queenstown and two and a half hours to Mount Cook. Surrounded by magnificent mountains and unrestricted access to the Lake, this hotel offers unobstructed views of the blue water and breathtaking scenery.

Edgewater Resort offers guests a choice of 104 hotel rooms, one bedroom suites and two bedroom apartments. All rooms provide optimum views of the Lake Wankaka surrounds, and are located on either the ground level or one level up.

This New Zealand accommodation caters for couples and families, with facilities including two tennis courts, children's playground, sauna and spa, 9-hole putting green, plus walking, running & bike tracks for the more active. Edgewater Resort also boasts their signature restaurant - Sargoods Restaurant, Lobby Bar and alfresco dining.

Accommodation

Edgewater Resort features 45 Hotel rooms, and 59 one & two bedroom apartments. Most apartments are the same floorplan, with the exception of a few upper/lower styles, and are locked for different configurations.

1 Bedroom Suite: Feature kitchenette with cooking facilities, a spacious dining and living area, and in-room laundry facilities. All either open out onto a balcony, or if located on the ground floor, onto a patio that flows directly to the rolling lawns and onto the lakefront. Bedding is 1 King Bed OR 2 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults & Children.

2 Bedroom Apartment: Feature two-bedrooms & two bathrooms, dining area and kitchen facilities. All apartments open out onto a balcony, or if located on the ground floor, onto a patio that flows directly to the rolling lawns and onto the lakefront. Bedding is 1 King Bed OR 2 Single Beds OR 1 Queen Bed + 1 Single Bed. Maximum room capacity is 6 Adults & Children.

Dining

Edgewater Resort offers two dining options to cater for a wide range of tastes. Housed in the main building are Sargoods Restaurant and the Lobby Lounge Bar. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, with unobstructed views of lake and mountain splendour.

Sit by the fireside and sip mulled wine or enjoy a meal outside on the alfresco terraces.

Sargoods Restaurant: An a-la-carte restaurant for those who enjoy imaginative cuisine. The wine list features a top selection of New Zealand wines - including the best from the local Central Otago vineyards. Breakfast is also served daily - continental or full buffet.

Lobby Lounge Bar: Enjoy this relaxed and comfortable environment, open daily for alcoholic beverages, coffee and tea, snacks and light meals. Your choice to sit by the fireplace or on the alfresco terraces.
