Clearwater Golf Course is host to the New Zealand PGA championship, a testament to the excellent par 72 course. Rooms, Suites and Villas are in a contemporary boathouse design, and the spacious Terrace Apartments have cozy fireplaces and all offer marvellous lake and fairway views. The Lakeside Villa consists of interconnecting Lakefront Suite and Lakeside Room.

The Lakes Restaurant: Offers contemporary fine dining with brilliant lake views and elegant surrounds. Overlooking the Kaikainui Lake and 18th green, it offers a relaxed and casual but elegant dining setting. Outdoor dining is also available, weather permitting. With a menu featuring modern New Zealand cuisine with a contemporary flair, the menu changes regularly to make the most of the finest seasonal produce available. The menu is complemented by a wine list featuring renowned labels, particularly award-winning New Zealand wines. Located in the Clubhouse, Lakes Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, 7 days a week.

Sprig Bar: Continues the casual elegance of the Lakes Restaurant, catering for everyone, whether you have just completed 18-holes of golf or dropped by Clearwater to relax on the lakeside deck with friends and family. The award winning team of chefs have created a mouth-watering bar menu to sample from. The Sprig Bar is open daily for light meals and casual dining.

Activities

Golf: The championship golf course designed by John Darby in consultation with Sir Bob Charles, is home to the New Zealand PGA and offers players a choice of 5 tee positions. It is a challenging yet enjoyable course for players of all levels. The Golf Shop provides individual and group coaching, a fully stocked golf shop, golf and club hire and electric carts. A driving range, practice area and putting green are available for players.

Archery: Test your skill with the bow and arrow and take part in archery. Building strength and coordination, this activity is fun as well as good for you. Individual and group lessons are available by contacting the Golf Shop.

Bicycling: Enjoy a cycle around the various tracks around the resort or venture next door to the Groynes Scenic Reserve. Mountain bikes are available for hire at Reception.

Fly Fishing: Peppers Clearwater Resort resident fly fishing instructor and guide provides comprehensive practical lessons with personalised service and can organise hire equipment and licenses. The abundance of brown and rainbow trout in the various lakes and streams at the resort ensure this is a pleasurable experience. The resort can also arrange off-site fly fishing expeditions in remote locations. Book a picnic hamper and enjoy the thrill and challenge of fly fishing.

Tennis : Two all weather tennis courts are available for hire. Bookings and equipment hire are available through the Golf Shop.
