Hapuku Lodge & Tree Houses

Family owned Hapuku Lodge & Tree Houses is a contemporary country inn located 12km north of the renowned eco-marine town of Kaikoura on New Zealand's South Island.
Settled within an expansive deer farm and 1000 tree olive grove, Hapuku Lodge & Tree Houses is situated in one of the most spectacular settings, nestled between the Kaikoura Seaward Mountain Range and Mangamaunu Bay.
The family of architects and designers built Hapuku Lodge to be a contemporary complement to the spectacular landscape. With local wood working friends, the furniture was custom made for the Lodge's rooms. Hapuku Lodge's walls are hung with the work of established New Zealand artists.
This Kaikoura accommodation is spacious and well appointed, featuring European style bathrooms with heated floors and handcrafted furniture including the Lodge's renowned beds, mattresses and linens that produce 'the most comfortable sleep in the South Island'.
Kaikoura is about halfway between Picton and Christchurch on The South Island of New Zealand. Experience a wide range of activities such as horse riding, whale watching and deep sea fishing. Hapuku Lodge makes a great base camp from which to explore the area on your next New Zealand holiday.
